POPULATION STUDIES OF Phyllocnistis citrella Stainton ON SOME COMMERCIAL ROOTSTOCKS OF CITRUS UNDER NURSERY CONDITIONS

R. C. BATRA, NANDITA SHARMA, P. K. ARORA

Abstract

Population studies of Phyllocnisris citrella revealed two peaks in April and  September, coinciding with flushes on all commercial rootstocks in the nursery from seedling to  budling stage. There was no significant correlation between the population and weather factors  irrespective of the rootstock. Rough lemon strain Jatti Khatti was more susceptible to leaf-miner  injury.
